“Free Tax Reports and Airdrop"

1. General

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the basis on which you can participate in the Blockpit free tax reports (“Free Tax Reports”) and the Bitpanda BEST Airdrop (“Airdrop“) Promotion organised, in cooperation with Blockpit, by Bitpanda GmbH (Stella-Klein-Löw Weg 17, A-1020 Vienna) ("Bitpanda") 

In order to participate in the Free Tax Report and/or Airdrop, you have to accept these Terms and Conditions in full and the applicable terms and conditions of Bitpanda in its current version which are an integral part of these Terms.

2. Promotion period and Eligibility

The start date for entries  for the Airdrop is 2 May, 2022 at 00:00 CET (“Start Date”). The closing date for entries is 23 May, 2022, at 23:59 CET (“Closing Date”) - (“Promotion Period”).

Eligibility:

Entry is open to fully verified and registered Bitpanda users (“Bitpanda Client”) who
(a) have their country of residence in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain or France,

(b) meet all the requirements described in this section,

(c) have executed at least one trade on Bitpanda Broker (not including Bitpanda Pro) in 2022 and

(d) accept these Terms and Conditions.

Natural or legal persons performing market making services or any similar services are not eligible to enter the Promotion. 

White Label users are not eligible to participate in the Free Tax Report and/or Airdrop. 

Airdrop

To participate (“Participant”) you have to register successfully at Blockpit (and create a full account, also a free licence counts) with the individual Bitpanda link during the Promotion Period, Bitpanda clients who have successfully registered to Blockpit already can participate by generating a tax report during the Promotion Period.

3. Prizes and  Communication

All Participants who fulfil the requirement of section 2 are considered Winners (“Winner” or “Winners”.) At the end of the Promotion Period, a randomly determined Airdrop amount between EUR 5 and EUR 200, paid out in Bitpanda Ecosystem Token ("BEST"), will be distributed to the Winners.

Winners will be notified via email sent to the email address stated in the Winner’s Bitpanda account at the end of the Promotion Period. The exact Airdrop amount is determined randomly and credited directly to the Winner’s Bitpanda BEST wallet. Bitpanda will complete the transfer of the Airdrop in BEST by the end of June 2022. The Euro/BEST value will be determined by the market value at the time of the transfer to the Winner. 

Free Tax Reports for Bitpanda

Until now, Bitpanda Clients only created a tax report for free if they had less than 25 transactions. 

Starting with the Start Date of the Promotion Period, all Bitpanda Clients who connect their depots to Blockpit (connected via API) get a tax report for free also with more than 25 transactions per year. Other exchanges and wallets may require a paid Blockpit license to create tax reports.

4. Other Important Information

Please note that Blockpit cannot guarantee that its licence is available without any restrictions depending on the Participant's place of residence.

The tax reporting solution is a service provided solely by Blockpit. Bitpanda disclaims any and all liability for such third party services. You are solely responsible for compliance at all times with all domestic and international tax laws resulting from holding, trading and/or exchanging assets with the trading service, so we advise you to consult your own tax and accounting advisors before filing your tax return.

5. Disqualification 

Bitpanda may disqualify a Participant if  there is (i) collusion between Participants aimed at manipulating the  Free Tax Report and/or Airdrop, (ii) a breach of these Terms and Conditions, (iii) a breach of any other applicable terms and conditions of Bitpanda, its subsidiaries or Blockpit, or (iv) if any data provided by you is incorrect.

Disqualified Participants will not be entitled to become a Winner or win any other Prize under this Free Tax Report and/or Airdrop.

6. The Parties’ responsibilities 

Please note that you are responsible for the correctness of the data provided by you.  

The allocation of the Airdrop amount allocated to a Winner is carried out by an internal procedure of Bitpanda using random selection. Bitpanda will not disclose any information regarding the random selection process.

Participants also acknowledge that the scope of the Blockpit licences and their unlimited availability is not guaranteed by Bitpanda and that the usability of the Blockpit license may be severely restricted or not available depending on the Participant's place of residence.

7. Data protection

Bitpanda collects your personal data on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) item. a General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and insofar as this is necessary for the establishment of the legal relationship with the Participant and for the subsequent implementation and handling of the Free Tax Report and/or Airdrop.
